This remodeled shower space has modern contemporary looks, minimal maintenance and a nearly invisible drain.
We used large format 18″ x 18″ porcelain tile on the walls and floor – including all the way through the shower floor – which was possible with the use of linear strip drain (no need for compound slope, as is required with a standard type drain).
The floor framing was recessed, to allow the shower to be curbless. This makes accessibility – as well as convenience – much better.
The final detail is the use of epoxy grout. More durable, and easier to clean.
