This kitchen and bathroom renovation project focused on correcting an incomplete and poorly planned layout while elevating both spaces with a cohesive, modern design. The existing kitchen lacked flow and natural light, prompting a full reconfiguration to create an open layout better suited to the homeowners’ lifestyle.
The redesigned kitchen features rift-cut walnut cabinetry paired with white quartz perimeter countertops and a natural stone quartzite island. A custom walnut table integrated into the island serves as the primary dining area, reinforcing the kitchen’s role as a central gathering space. Reworking the original kitchen, nook, and family room layout allowed the space to feel more open, functional, and visually connected. A layered lighting plan, including recessed, pendant, under-cabinet, and toe-kick lighting, supports both everyday use and entertaining.
The primary bathroom was similarly reimagined to align with the home’s updated aesthetic. An oversized, outdated tub was replaced with a streamlined pedestal model, while the shower was expanded into a curbless design with a linear drain and large-format tile. A floating walnut vanity anchors the space, complemented by integrated mirror lighting, heated floors, and a heated towel rack. The result is a cohesive renovation that balances material richness, comfort, and thoughtful functionality throughout both spaces.
